History of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning
The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FCEP) is one of the oldest faculties in the field of Exact Sciences at Universitas International Batam (UIB), Batam, Indonesia. Established in 2000 along with the establishment of the University, it was initially located in Engku Putri area, Batam Centre, as place for lecture activities. In 2003, UIB established campus located at Gajah Mada St, Baloi – Sei Ladi, Batam, automatically, FCEP was also moved to the new location. FCEP is strengthened by qualified academic staff, including Lectures, Administrators, Laboratorians/Technicians/Operators, and Librarians. Currently, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning offers two (2) Undergraduate Programs, namely: Civil Engineering and Architecture.
The accreditation of the FCEP was conducted by BAN-PT and it received Accreditation “A” for the S-1 Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program and “Good” Accreditation for the S-1 Architecture Undergraduate Program.
